What Do We Do?

The Mission

Collective Bargaining and Grievances

The CCOA negotiates collective bargaining agreements with the NCSO and acts to enforce the terms of our negotiated agreement through our grievance procedure.

Training and Support

The CCOA strives to provide the necessary training and resources to members so that they feel supported.

The CCOA is dedicated to advocating for the rights and welfare of correctional officers employed at the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office. Our union is committed to protecting the rights of our members, fostering a safe and fair workplace, and providing necessary support and resources to our members. Through collective bargaining and professional development, we strive to ensure that our voices are heard and our needs are met. Our vision is to create an environment where correctional officers can thrive professionally and personally, ensuring justice and safety for all.

Advocacy and Defense

We believe in empowering and protecting our members, working collaboratively with correctional institutions, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability in our field.
